The Lindau - Bad Schachen Golf Club is remarkable for its breathtaking views of Lake Constance and its proximity to the Alps at the meeting point of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. For more than half a century this attractive 18-hole golf course at the foot of the Schönbühl mountain has earned itself a reputation as one of the most beautiful golf courses in Germany. Golfclub Lindau-Bad Schachen Golf Club Bodensee-Weißensberg
This 18-hole course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. amidst the gently rolling Alpine foothills and is a testing course for any golfer.
The course has narrow fairways, 96(!) bunkers, raised greens and numerous stretches of water flanking the fairway or as direct obstacles. The Swiss business magazine BILANZ rated the course as the second most difficult course in Switzerland.
Players must have a licence to play on the green; weekend golfers require a handicap of 35.
Hotel guests presenting their room pass will receive a 10% discount on green fees.
